Stephanie Jalaba is an Assistant Professor and Principal Faculty in the Michigan State University PA Program. Stephanie recently relocated to Michigan, where she was born and raised, after spending several years in Arizona. Her clinical background is in hospital medicine. After graduating from Midwestern University’s PA Program, she then completed a post-graduate fellowship in Hospital Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. Stephanie then worked as a Hospital Internal Medicine PA at Mayo Clinic and earned Instructor in Medicine credentials in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. She also served as adjunct faculty, clinical site development coordinator, and a student preceptor at Midwestern University. She is a former graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. Stephanie is very active in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and currently serves as a member of the AAPA’s Commission on Continuing Professional Development and Education. She is a frequent speaker on various clinical topics at both regional and national professional meetings.
