Michigan Osteopathic College Foundation

The Michigan Osteopathic College Foundation, or MOCF, endowment has been an important contributor to the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the state’s osteopathic profession for years. Thanks to generous support from individuals and organizations, our students have the opportunity and backing to envision themselves in any number of career possibilities, caring for patients across Michigan and beyond. The average MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine student graduates with more than $200,000 in debt — a number we want to reduce as much as possible.

Student Impact

Since 1969, nearly 8,000 D.O.s have found their medical education home with the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, and many of our graduates are proudly serving communities across Michigan – from the Upper Peninsula to the vibrant city of Detroit. In fact, this year, MSUCOM received a number one ranking in U.S. News & World Report as the medical college with the most graduates serving in areas with health professional shortages. We truly are the medical school for Michigan.

Our ability to continue this vital work is fueled by the generous support of our alumni, partners, donors and friends like you. To those of you who have supported the MOCF, we are deeply grateful for your partnership. To those who are joining us for the first time in this work, we are thrilled and grateful for our new partnership! We invite you all to be a part of this incredible journey. You’ve helped shape our success, and we look forward to collaborating with you as we take bold steps forward.
