MSU College of Engineering Alumni ‘04 & MSU COM Alumni ‘08. Internal Medicine residency program at Ingham Regional Medical Center (now McLaren Greater Lansing). Worked in private practice doing traditional IM (office & inpatient) for 6.5 years after post graduate training at MMP (now McLaren). Currently working as hospitalist.

Dr. Nicodemus is a graduate of MSUCOM (2004), Board Certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and practices at the MSU OMM clinic. He earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California at Davis (1993) with specialty in Orthopedic Biomechanics and is Director of OMM Clinical Research and the OMM Biomechanics Research Laboratory. His research focus is the role of the sacroiliac joint as a central cause of chronic low back pain.

Dr. Robert Norris has been the long time Team Physician with the Spartan hockey program. After assisting the program for three years (2000-03), he officially took over the reigns as Head Team Physician for Spartan hockey in the 2003-04 campaign. Assistant Professor

Dr. Obando serves as Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education, Continuing Medical Education and the Graduate Medical Education Alliance. She received her Ph.D. in Medical Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1995. Her area of interest is in medical education administration, e-learning, curriculum and faculty development, and research.

Shawna serves as the Department Course Assistant in Osteopathic Surgical Specialties. Prior to joining OSS, Shawna worked at MSU Sports Medicine for a total of 11 years as a surgery scheduler, rotation coordinator and front office assistant. She worked closely with student athletes, medical students and residents.

Aaron serves as Director of Finance and Budgets in the college’s Business Office. He represents the financial interests on behalf of the college and serves as a resource and expert on all financial related business. His responsibilities include directing MSUCOM’s annual college budget and serving as the college’s finance liaison to the Office of Health Sciences, MSU Health Care Inc., and all other entities the college interacts with.
