In addition, the college is pleased to announce that Mark Charles DeLano, M.D., FACR, has accepted the role of chairperson of the Department of Radiology, a unit that is jointly administered by the College of Osteopathic Medicine as lead college, and the College of Human Medicine.
DeLano has served as the director of the Division of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging in CHM. He received his B.S. from Michigan State University’s Lyman Briggs College and received his M.D. from MSU. His clinical training included an internship at Northwestern University School of Medicine Evanston Hospital, his radiology residency at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowship at the John Hopkins Medical Institutions Department of Radiology and Radiological Science. DeLano has been with the Department of Radiology since 1996 and also serves as the medical director for Adult Radiology at Spectrum Health System.
