Cara is the assistant director of Wellness and Counseling services in the College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a licensed clinical social worker and certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor. Prior to joining the COMmunity, Cara was a mental health therapist with MSU’s Olin Psychiatry and most recently served as the Alcohol and Other Drug Program coordinator for MSU’s Health Promotion. Dr. Rebecca Malouin serves as Associate Dean for Global Health and Director of the Global Health Institute. She is a health services researcher with a specific interest in primary care. She received her Ph.D. and M.P.H. in international health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a M.S. in epidemiology from Michigan State University. She served as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Niger.
