Beginning this year, the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine’s D.O.-Ph.D. Program will be fully funded, providing D.O.-Ph.D. students with full tuition benefits in addition to competitive stipends and health benefits.
“This is the best way to train future physician scientists,” said Dean Andrea Amalfitano, D.O., Ph.D. Reducing student debt load will better enable students to pursue the careers they most desire, he added.
