The MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine welcomed the D.O. Class of 2030 during Orientation July 7-9.
The three-day orientation began with a college-wide experience at the Kellogg Center introducing students to the osteopathic profession and the supportive community they have joined. Activities included Mingle Bingo, opportunities to hear advice and insights from members of the Class of 2029 and other student leaders and a presentation highlighting the principles and philosophy of osteopathic medicine.
Following opening day, students continued orientation activities at their respective sites -- East Lansing, Detroit Medical Center or Macomb University Center. Orientation helps students prepare for medical school through site tours, introductions to upcoming coursework, student resources, career advising and site-specific policies and procedures.
