Twenty-five percent of Americans identify as disabled.  This event raises the importance of disability or chronic illness as a factor of diversity that physicians need to consider.

Both clinicians and non-clinicians will provide their own unique perspectives on caring for disabled patients, advocating for disabled medical trainees and more. The panel features Dr. Mangala Sadasivan, who developed the PEAK program at MSU, Caleb Sandoval, ability access specialist and PMR physician Dr. Michael Andary, as well as a patient of Dr. Andary’s.

This event is open to MSUCOM affiliates, pre-college and admitted students.
