Diversity Week 2021 - Transgender Medicine and Allyship

Learn to apply osteopathic principles to the transgender community.  Healthcare professionals and transgender-identifying speakers will share about the unique needs, challenges and experiences of the transgender and larger LGBTQ+ community, and how to best serve this frequently underserved and misunderstood patient population.

Two individuals who identify as transgender will share their stories and participate in a panel discussion with a physician, a psychologist and an intern.

This event is open to MSUCOM affiliates, pre-college and admitted students.
