Interview Process
The MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine interview will remain online only for the 2024-2025 application cycle.
What interview format will the college use?
Applicants invited to interview may expect a one-on-one interview with a college representative lasting about 30 minutes. These interviews will be conducted via video conference. Your interviewer will be a faculty member, administrator, or alumnus of the College. Interviews are closed file; the interviewer will not have read your application.
Is there anything I should do to prepare for my interview?
You will be emailed with specific instructions when invited to interview. There is nothing specific you need to prepare in advance.
What else should I expect?
Around the time that you interview, you will be invited to participate in a virtual admissions presentation, question & answer sessions with current MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine students, and a variety of other informational sessions. Admitted students will be invited to participate in other opportunities to connect with students, faculty, and staff. These sessions may help students select a preclerkship site, address financial aid questions, and outline student services and resources at the college. We expect to invite admitted students to campus for in-person activities in the spring prior to matriculation.
