Arya Khatiwoda, D.O.

Arya Khatiwoda, DO is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties and a urologic surgeon in MSU Urology.  After earning her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her residency in urological surgery at the Sparrow Hospital Urology Residency Program. 

Dr. Khatiwoda’s clinical interests include surgical and medical management of kidney stones, female urology, men’s sexual health, and testicular, bladder, prostate, and kidney cancers, making her a pivotal asset to MSU Urology. 

She was elected to serve on MSUCOM’s Diversity Committee and served as a research assistant for the MSU Department of Epidemiology and the Michigan Institute of Urology. 

At the 2014 Mid-Michigan Research Forum, Dr. Khatiwoda was the second-place winner for her poster presentation entitled, ‘Renal cell carcinoma in the pediatric population: Case presentation and brief literature review.’
