My research focuses on the mechanisms responsible for sensing bladder fullness. We employ a multi-disciplinary approach, including biochemical, pharmacological, physiological and genetic tools, to understand how the bladder muscle, nerves, vasculature and urothelium communicate to impact bladder function.
