Communications Manager

Ashley Carmichael is the Pathway Programs Coordinator; she works with both Post-Secondary and K-12 Pathway programs at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Ashley has served with the Pathway Programs since 2022. She is passionate about providing unique experiences to young people and assisting them on their education journey.

Jacquelyn Charbel, DO, FACOS, FACS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties in Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Jacek Cholewicki is a Walter F. Patenge Professor in spinal biomechanics at the MSU Center for Neuromusculoskeletal Clinical Research (CNCR), Dept. of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Cholewicki received his Ph.D. degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in Canada in 1994. His research interests lie in the areas of lumbar and cervical spine function, spine injury mechanisms, tissue loading, and biomechanical modeling using EMG. Sung Soo Chung is serving as the Associate Director, and he has worked for the Institute for Global Health since 2012. Chung has been working for 1) global healthcare education, 2) capacity building with other countries and 3) research promotion.
