I am an associate professor in Microbiology, Genetics and Immunology, and in Pediatrics and Human Development. In the College of Osteopathic Medicine, I serve as the co-director of the D.O.-Ph.D. program, as well as the assistant dean for Graduate Studies. Dr. Janice Schwartz (BS, MS, PhD) earned an Individual Interdisciplinary PhD in Molecular Endocrinology and Biophysics from the School of Medicine at Wayne State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology before being appointed to the Department of Physiology at the School of Medicine of WSU.
