Amy immigrated from South Korea to the United States when she was in high school. During the difficult time of adjusting to a new culture and language, she developed empathy for people going through grief, disappointments, anguish, pain, and frustrations. Cara is the director of Wellness and Counseling services in the College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a licensed clinical social worker and certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor.
