Back

Due to anticipated inclement weather, Dr. Barbara Ross-Lee’s presentation for the William G. Anderson lecture series Slavery to Freedom: An American Odyssey event scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13, has been postponed to 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts, Pasant Theatre.

In addition to Dr. Barbara Ross-Lee at this year's Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Slavery to Freedom lecture series, events are also scheduled for Feb. 20 and 27  with guest speakers Rev. Osagyefo Sekou and The Freedom Fighters and Dr. Russell Ledet at the Wharton Center.

In the meantime, enjoy a closer look at "Earth, Backbone and Brilliance," a mixed media installation created for the series by Lansing-area muralist Brian Whitfield.
